“The local impacts of declining soil fertility are felt mainly in the incomes of the rural poor and in people’s nutrition.” (Ministry of Agriculture). In this context, and with contributions from its members, EUP BIGOMA provides nutritional support to schools in areas long affected by repeated wars, which prevent parents (especially women) from reaching their fields to meet their families’ basic needs.
