- Strengthen people’s capacity to apply modern agroforestry methods and techniques.
- Support communities in the responsible management of forestation.
- Support communities in the responsible management of solid waste (in line with SDG target 6.2).
- Promote Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).
- Document good and bad practices through studies and action research.
Our Programme Approach
Our programme approach is safe (knowing, controlling and managing risks), accessible (equal opportunity for all, giving everyone the chance to benefit from and access our interventions), dignified (respecting each person as a whole: cultural, economic, religious, political and mental considerations, as well as respect for their rights, opinions, choices, personality, vulnerability, etc.) and inclusive (taking into account every social group: sex, age, religion, ethnicity, marginalised or vulnerable people, populations living in protected areas or near forests, people evicted from the park, rural and urban populations, displaced, host and returnee families, etc.), so that our actions are effective.
